oh man CJC SYF GOLD!
for me, i may not have high expectations. maybe thats why i think we did really well.
but sir said we did too!
anw. i have grown alot in band these few months.
band practice turned from a chore to fun. (: and something i look forward to.

i really thank god for placing me in trombone.
not only do i learn a new instrument, i was able to make really good friends with the trombone section.
even after my transfer, i became closer to the euphonium section! (:
even though sometimes we do joke or annoy each other by outcasting me as not in their section.
i guess i really have fun in band cause of them.

today was really cool.
it was my first onstage performance that i didnt really care who was watching us or what our result was.

when we reached we went straight into the tuning room. after that proceeded to wait for entry to the stage.
i was a bit nervous. but not like the other SYF or competitions/concert.
the band people were encouraging. (:
we went on stage with our heads held high, with pride and confidence in ourselves.
got up. relaxed abit by joking with one another. (:
thought about what sir said about the music and all. and waited for the introduction of our band and for sir's entry. he came in and we started on safari.
we did most of the things he asked us to and he was really happy. he mouthed "well done" at the end of it. (: smiling with confidence and pride.
the feste romane. the song we first hated but come to love. the song we spent majority of our time practising for, the song we thought was never possible to play well. the song. that the band before us, ACJC, played. even with the strong band right infront of us, when sir was up there about to begin the song. i didnt think of ACJC at all. or whether we'll measure up. i just told. " AH HECK. i've practised so hard, trying to master the trombone part in a freaking month and im going to play my best, for me, for the band, for sir" and i did. i didnt mispitch much. only one or two random notes. but other than that. i tried my best to deliver everything sir asked for. (: and i think our band performed well. he smiled and looked happy after it. and then he said, we did well. (: we all felt good about ourselves. (:

then the results. all the bands did alright. no COP/bronze
all silvers golds and 3 gold with honours(ACJC-nicole(: VJC-charlee(: SAJC)
cjc got gold. but everyone didnt know how to react.
cause ACJC which was right in front of us got gold with honours and cheering like mad. but we got gold. so it was quite silent really. who cares. we did good! (: we're happy about ourselves. (: we improved and maintained the GOLD title. (:

dinner later was rather late but fun. with the section. (: and the rest of the ther 50 band ppl. at BK. hahahaha. we were making hell loads of noise. (: oh well. (: fang kept bullying me and i was feeling quite stoned cause i was hungry. and he kept thinking i was going to cry. rahr. and joey gave me his flower cause he didnt want it. and mr henry and section kept inventing nonsense. oh well. but i had FUN!
