touch young arrows survivor camp.

i'll have to say.
this camp brought me closer to god in a way.
and opened my eyes to the sort of children we have in society today.
and it gave me the joy of knowing so many kids that are special in their own way.
not to mention, friendships with ppl i dont know, or know but not know..( im sure that totally makes sense)

on saturday the counsellors checked in and went through a briefing on the events and all.
i was in COMMANDO team. under ahem. "kok-kok" benjamin and i found out i was a main counsellor.
anws. had fun and all.














sunday morning:
went to church. then went back to ngeeann primary to prepare for the registration of the children.
children started streaming in.
my group was. rather quiet i guess.
but it soon became.....
anws. played unity games like this one!
where they had to get from one end of the parade square to the other with a fixed amount of chairs. super cool.










then we had night games.
it was rather hard for me to understand.
and rather complicated.
so. i guess it didnt turn out as fun as it should be.
but the idea was amazingly fun and interesting.

anws. stayed up early into the morning. then went to sleep.


monday morning.
had mass dance in the morning.
travelled to the beach. (:
had beach cleaning.
and the some sandcastle comp.

then we had mass dance back in school and structured experience.
which is basically blindfolding them. and leading them into things they dont know about.
and see how they overcome their fear.
i felt that it was really and eye opener for me.
to see the way the children react,
some cry. some cheat.
and i have to deal with them individually.
so i really learn alot.

slept late as well. had talk with amabel.

tuesday morning:

bukit timah hike.
it started bad.
owen wasnt cooperating.
me and isable had to stay until it decided to walk with us.
by that time ben and the rest were far ahead.
called ben. didnt pick up.
called kenneth, realised overshot turn.
went back. finally found them after like 20 plus minutes.










first station where mr elias was the centre of attraction.











his personal hair stylists.











i predicted that for the other groups, the person chosen would be. seth and sky.
and oh boy oh boy. i was right.
their hair were. horrendous when i saw them later.
at dairy farm when we finally finished the hike.











i wanted to plonk down and sleep. super tired.
i had to carry a crumpler and simin's bag.
guide the group members. help them and carry them up sometimes.
outdoor cooking was frustrating but okay. the kids had fun.
the counsellors were all gg to drop dead.
lack of water. dehydration and all.
when we were gathering to proceed to the buses,
ben was next to me. and the both of us were like. gg to collapse.
ben's job was really tough.
he had to lead the group,
make sure everyone's okay
handle owen and all the rest of the mischeivious boys,
help the clan through the difficult dangerous parts.
poor him. and he didnt have enough water.
we finally went up the bus.
i got a seat next to him.
and we both just slept.
i nearly kept falling out of the chair.

after that we went back to school and we preparedfor campfire.
the great PCs gave us one and a half hours to think of a skit.
lol. we were like brain dead stony and tired.
so we ended up doing a simple song.
ut the kids were really good.
they were high and enthu.
and the counsellors felt happy about it.
cause well, who wouldnt right?
campfire was okay.
the starting was way cool.
and all.
okayy so you're thinking.
all the counsellors were tired and want to sleep.
but there was a group of us.

oh yeah.
mr kenneth tan kept singing the artillery cheer.

and got it stuck in all of our heads.
had a lot of fun laughing lah.

and ben said. his home surely very clean.
cause he catches all the pest and cleans the floor.lol.
